Senses......
As part of our yearly Riebeek Valley Olive Festival, the Riebeek Valley Community Theatre is presenting a new introduction to the Olive Festival. As the organisers of the successful monthly Riebeek West Funky FRESH Market, we present on the Friday evening May the 6th before the start of the Riebeek Valley Olive Festival the event called: "Senses ……."
" Senses….." is a fundraising event for the Riebeek Valley Community Theatre & the Riebeek Valley Empowerment project.
As the name suggest "Senses" combines the appeasement, titillating & captivation of all of the visitors’ senses…… visual, auditory, tactile, taste & smell.
"Senses" starts at 18h30 for 19h00 at Kasteelberg Trading store, Voortrekker Road in Riebeek West on Friday 6th of May. When entering guests will receive a free glass of wine from famed Pulpit Rock Wine Cellars and pass through 5 or 6 gourmet foodie stations where delectable food will be on offer.
Up the stairs and on the "stoep" past the 2 massage cubicles where visitors can experience bewitching mini massage indulgences. Also a "scent station" where the visitor can acquire rich aromatic oils & soaps.
Then into the Kasteelberg Trading Store where an exhibition of beautiful artwork from well-known artist will be on display (and for sale) amongst alluring antiques and fascinating, quirky Bric a Brac.
Outside next to the Chill Lounge patrons can find the cash bar and enjoy their divine eats they acquired.
"Mr Cat & the Jackal" will be performing in the "Chill Lounge" from 8:15pm, with opening act starting at 19h45. After the show guests will be welcome to hang around, eat some more, drink some more, chill or sway to the groovy sounds of DJ BE till late.
Tickets are R60 and include a free glass of wine. Funds raised will be benefiting the Riebeek Valley Community Theatre & the Riebeek Valley Empowerment Project.
The Riebeek West Funky FRESH Express, a shuttle service from Riebeek Kasteel will be available to assist patrons on their journey towards sensory bliss…….. Departing from De Oude Kerk Museum (Riebeek Kasteel) at 6:15pm and 6:45pm and returning at 11:00pm and 11:30pm.
We are catering for the more sophisticated visitor and guest, who would want to enjoy a beautiful evening with generous incitement and attainment of their senses………..
